Recognized as the most reliable hair removal system available, electrolysis is a medically approved technique that uses a tiny current of electricity to permanently remove unwanted hair from any area of the body. The licensed and experienced hair removal technicians at Hairtech 2000 use advanced technology that includes sterile and disposable needles for each treatment that is performed from our clean and relaxing salon.
How Does Electrolysis Work?
Unlike laser hair removal techniques, electrolysis is highly effective for adult men and women of any age and all types of unwanted hair. Depending on the amount of sessions needed by one of our clients, the hair in treated areas becomes finer and less visible with each consecutive electrolysis treatment. Fully equipped with the most modern industry equipment available, our electrolysis technicians permanently remove the hairs ability to grow using a mild electric current aimed at the hair follicle.
Hair Regrowth After Electrolysis
Your unwanted hair goes through various growth cycles and is not always visible on the surface of the skin. As a result, deep, coarse hair may not be eliminated immediately. Following a normal growth cycle, some hair follicles enter a dormant stage and may require additional treatment when regrowth occurs. However, with continued treatment, electrolysis has been proven to permanently remove unwanted hair on virtually any area of the body including, the hairline, eyebrows, upper and lower lip, cheeks, chin, neck shoulders, arms, chest, abdomen, bikini line and more.
Your Safety and Comfort Are a Priority
Hairtech 2000 estheticians customize each electrolysis session following a complete analysis of your hair and skin type and by identifying any underlying problem that may be at the root of persistent and unwanted hair growth. Treatments are also adjusted according to the skin sensitivity and particular needs of each of our clients with special attention to ensure your comfort during each session.

Electrolysis VS Laser Hair Removal
Electrolysis differs from laser hair removal in that laser treatments can cover much larger areas that electrolysis which removes single hairs one at a time. In addition, laser hair removal works best on darker hair. Individuals may experience regrowth on previously treated areas as time passes following their last treatment. Although laser treatments permanently reduce the total number of body hairs in specific areas, permanent removal of all hair may require repeated treatments.
Electrolysis works well on all types of hair and textures whether light, blond, gray, brown or black and is also safe and effective for all skin types. Electrolysis can be performed on any area of the body including facial area and the areas surrounding the eye (cheekbone and eyebrows). Modern electrolysis techniques do not normally cause pain nor discomfort though clients may experience a mild tingling.
